褐毒隐翅虫（学名：Paederus littoralis），是毒隐翅虫属的一种昆虫，于1802年由德国昆虫学家Gravenhorst发表描述[2]，广泛分布于世界各地，为台湾最常见的一种隐翅虫[3]。
本种身长约4-5.5毫米，体色为红黄色与黑色，头部色深，颈部色浅，触角则是中间色深、基部与尖端色浅[4]。本种成虫体内具有隐翅虫素[4]，为其体内共生的假单胞菌所合成[5]，与人体皮肤接触后可造成隐翅虫皮肤炎，但本种不会螫刺或叮咬人，因此只有被挤压时才会释放含有隐翅虫素的体液[6]，有新闻媒体提到这种毒素与皮肤接触后可能致命，实际上虽会造成相当程度的疼痛与发炎，但不会致死[7]，只有被摄入体内或注射到血液中时才可能致命[8]。
