……..需要注意的是，现代的幽燕西亞拥有历史的传承，从宗周的姬燕到鲜卑的三燕，再到安史家族的大燕，都是同一个燕国，所以幽燕西亞独立本质上并不是一个从中国分离的政治运动，而是一个驱逐入侵者的复国运动。只不过历史上的燕国政权都不是现代意义上的民族国家，因此这里按照欧洲人的习惯创造了一个新的名词幽燕西亞来代表现代的燕国，并采用国际上主流的独立一词，称为“幽燕独立运动”。
