Tyra Banks Says She’s ‘Kinda Feelin’ Her New Mouth Wrinkles

The supermodel, who turned 50 in December, is embracing the aging process

Tyra Banks is aging — and she's not afraid who knows it!

The supermodel, who turned 50 in December, posted a selfie on Instagram on Saturday, and revealed that she has new some wrinkles.

"I now have these little wrinkles on the corner of my mouth, and I’m kinda feelin’ them," she captioned a photo in which she's wearing a black top and chunky gold necklace. A black headband pushes her hair back, drawing attention to her face.

Banks has on dark smokey eye shadow, mascara, blush, and perhaps light gloss on her lips in the photo. Tiny wrinkles are just barely visible at the corners of her mouth.

"What are you about yourself these days? TyTy wants to know," she concluded the caption of her post, inviting her followers to share in the comment section.

Turning 50 is a big milestone in a person's life, and the former America’s Top Model  host spoke to the Daily Mail about how other women in the industry have made her excited to age.

“When I was younger, 50 was old, right? It was like a grandma age or something,” Banks said. “Now I look at Jennifer Lopez, I look at Halle Berry, I look at Jennifer Aniston, and I'm like, ‘What the hell is 50?’” she said.

The former Dancing with the Stars host went on to explain what the secret to aging is, in her opinion. “I do think one secret is extra weight, because I’ve not been too skinny," she said. “I think if you’re really skinny, it will age your face. So I think a bit of juice, as it keeps the face nice and juicy naturally."

She added that she hasn't had injections done yet, but she's not opposed to the idea in the future.

On her actual birthday, Dec. 4, Banks marked the occasion by posting makeup-free selfies on Instagram, along with a lengthy message to her fans in the caption of the post.

"If you’re younger than me, I HOPE you get to reach my age and BEYOND. Because it feels damn good," her message read in part.
