Tyra Banks makes a big revelation in her new book, Perfect Is Boring: She got a nose job early in her career.

According to Us Weekly, Tyra writes in the book that she unknowingly broke her nose when she was about three years old, but never got it treated because she wasn't in any pain. But it caused some issues for her down the road.

As she got older, Tyra writes that her nose “was kind of growing sideways” and she was “constantly scratching” it. But she says she didn’t actually see a doctor about it until a makeup artist encouraged her to do it early in her career.

The doctor discovered that Tyra had broken her nose as a kid, she says, but said she didn’t necessarily need surgery because the it wasn’t impacting her breathing.

Still, Tyra says she decided she’d rather get it fixed. So, she got a nose job, calling it "cosmetic slash medical," in the book.

Tyra told People that she's decided to open up about the procedure now because she feels a "responsibility," to tell the truth about her looks. "Natural beauty is unfair," she told People. "I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves."

This has been a theme for Tyra, who has voiced support for plastic surgery in the past. "I hate when models say ‘Oh, plastic surgery is just a wrong thing.' What are you talking about? You won the genetic lottery," she told Yahoo! Singapore in 2012.

Ultimately, Tyra believes that the decision to get plastic surgery (or not) is personal—and not up for judgement. “Fix it or flaunt it—I think women should be able to do both,” she told People. "You want a hair weave? Fine. You want permanent eyebrows? Fine. We as women need to stop judging."

Smize on, Tyra. Smize on.
