Erykah Badu reveals guests for her 53rd birthday show: Larry June, The Alchemist and Rapsody

The Dallas-based Queen of Neo-Soul will celebrate her latest solar return with a birthday blowout at The Factory in Deep Ellum on Saturday, February 24.

DALLAS — What do you get a four-time Grammy-winning musician who already has everything -- from a Vogue cover to a fleet of DART buses and even the first-ever key to Deep Ellum -- for their birthday?

No gifts, but canned goods for others in need.

That was the message that Erykah Badu, the Dallas-based Queen of Neo-Soul, shared with Jane McGarry during an appearance on Good Morning Texas.

Badu stopped by the WFAA studios on Thursday and chatted with the GMT host about a number of topics -- from her family to the honor DART bestowed upon her just this week -- but ultimately came to promote her upcoming birthday bash this weekend.

On Saturday, February 24, the performer will once again take to the stage at The Factory in Deep Ellum to partake in the latest of her ongoing series of concerts held on or around her February 26 birthdate. One of the premier annual events on the Dallas concert calendar, the generally star-studded affair has in previous years featured guest performances from such luminaries as Badu's fellow local Grammy winner Leon Bridges, her former flame Andre 3000, and even impromptu stand-up comedy from her longtime friend and collaborator Dave Chappelle.

True to form, this year's offering -- themed "Level 53 Final Boss" in a nod to both video games and her 53 years lived on this plane -- will once again feature some bold-faced names.

As Badu exclusively revealed on GMT, the lineup at Saturday's concert includes the positivity-centric rapper Larry June, the legendary hip-hop DJ and producer The Alchemist and the trailblazing female emcee Rapsody.

Doors to the concert open at 7 p.m. with the show slated to kick off at 8 p.m.

Tickets are still available here, starting at $65.
