A/N:
Highly recommend you reread from the beginning for a recap, because even I did not remember anything I wrote up until now.

Rin's POV

I was too nervous to look behind me again for the rest of Yukio's demon pharma-whatever class, but I could still feel Alia glaring at my backside. It didn't help the guilt I had in my gut that's been building up for days, now. Actually, knowing I was the reason she could see horror stories come to life made me feel so much worse...

'I got my temptaint when I was born. You were the demon that gave it to me.'

I remembered Yukio told me I was the reason he could see demons since birth, but beyond that...I never considered the possibilities.

And now...I gave Alia one, too?

It only reminded me of what I really was.

Alia made sure she was the first one out the door when we were dismissed. I was about to go after her, but I changed my mind when I remembered what went just down.

"What a day," I heard Shima chuckle behind me.

"You're telling me? Man, and I thought this guy was annoying."

I knew that was half a jab toward me, but I didn't give a damn. I spun on my heel and shot a glare at Suguro. "What the hell was THAT?!" I snapped, pointing to where Alia paced out. "She's completely clueless about everything and is seeing this all for the first time! She didn't grow up in a damn shrine like you guys; she's scared out of her mind, and you're making fun of her!" The more I talked, the more my voice raised, and the closer I was to him. My fists clenched at my sides at the flashback of everyone laughing at Alia, earlier. The way she shrank in her chair, looking smaller than everything...it made my blood boil.

Suguro didn't back down, who was also closing in on me. "As someone who is the most serious about this profession here, it's always fun to see, yet another, deadbeat stumble through that door!" He stuck a finger to the entrance as he grit his teeth. "Another person to treat this whole thing like a joke, and another person to hold us all back!" This time he pointed at Yamada while he was busy playing his video game in his usual spot. He didn't look like he knew that Yukio's lecture was over, yet. "We already have a couple of slackers, so we sure as hell don't need some drunk newbie after we finally made it to Esquires! So, I'm sorry that I can't have a little more sympathy for a couple of obstacles!" He shouted.

I bit back an insult as my scowl worsened. "You can't judge someone you just met! You don't know anything about her or what the hell happened!!" I yelled over him. A hand firmly gripped my shoulder, but I jerked away from it. Suguro raised an eyebrow, then smirked as his eyes closed before his anger faded. "Oh?" He asked. "Sounds like you do."

I gaped when I replayed what I said in my head. I dropped my fist and glared to the side. "I never said that...I'm just trying to be understanding, is all," I muttered. "I think everyone deserves a second chance."

Konekomaru hesitantly reached toward him. "Bon, please—" But he wasn't noticed.

Bon scoffed and shook his head. "Don't tell me you have a thing for her, too? Or are you just friends?" He pressed mockingly. I gasped, taking another step forward. "You have GOT to be kidding me! You're starting that bullshit all over again?!" He brought up that crap with me and Shiemi when she was a new student, too, and now, he was doing it with the next new girl. I was about to give him a real piece of my mind, but this time, I got yanked by my arm. "Enough!" Yukio hissed at me, giving me a dirty look after stepping between me and that damn rooster.
