If you made it to the end of Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, you’ll remember how the once vibrantly de-aged Robert De Niro and Al Pacino met their ends: one with incredible violence and the other in a home muttering about Jimmy Hoffa to an underpaid nurse.
Off-screen, however, Pacino and De Niro are having more hopeful turns in the winters of their lives. Just as De Niro is once again, for the seventh time, a father to a newborn, Pacino, 83, and his girlfriend Noor Alfallah, 29, are expecting, TMZ reported Tuesday night. And soon! Alfallah is reportedly eight months pregnant.
Pacino has three other children: Julie Marie, 33, who he had with his ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant. He and Beverly D’Angelo share twins Anton and Olivia, 22. Olivia, remember, was responsible for Pacino’s Shrek phone case, which the world discovered thanks to a photo from a dinner that Jason Momoa posted in April 2022. And the world discovered that Pacino and Alfallah were linked from that photo as well. Two enormous revelations about the life of Al Pacino from one photo posted by Mamoa. That guy is good at posting.
The actor is on record as a fan of fatherhood. He once called the role “part of the gestalt.” From The New Yorker in 2014:
Nothing like a brand new baby to keep you humble in your dotage.
