I love all these letter packs for teaching letter recognition and formation and linking letters and sounds. I really like the letter tracing sheets with the handwriting lines. Would it be possible to have these resources in a font more widely used in UK schools? Thanks!

Teaching Kids About the Letter L

Beginning sound games are a great way of helping children identify different letters. For this, put together a group of picture cards to show your class. Make sure there's a good mix of objects that start with the letter L and others that don't. You can use the flashcards from this pack or your own, it's up to you!

Show your class three cards at a time, asking them to pick out the one object that starts with the letter L. For example, you could show a lamb, a chair, and a dog. You can read the name of the object out loud if your children are too young to read the words themselves.

Give your class 10 seconds per word and repeat for as many cards as you have. This whole-class activity is a fun and engaging way to improve children's letter identification, vocabulary, and spelling skills. Why not try it out yourself?
