This exhibition is an opportunity to experience the world of Strand Beests created by the Dutch artist Theo Jansen (1948-). Strand Beests are constructed from everyday materials such as plastic tubes and PET bottles, and they are equipped with mechanisms that allow them to perform actions like walking powered by the wind. In this exhibition, various types of Strand Beests are displayed, along with videos and sketches, providing insight into the creative process of Theo Jansen. In the exhibition space, live demonstrations are conducted, showcasing the impressive movements of the giant Strand Beests.
