Gingerbread Man Cookies

For some delicious family fun, get the kids into the kitchen to whip up these fun and versatile gingerbread cookies. Of course, they can be cut into any shape to suit your occasion!
Ingredients
2 and 2/3 Cups Snowflake Cake Wheat Flour
1 Large Egg
2 Tbsp Water
1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
2 tsp Ground Ginger
Your choice of frosting and decorations
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in molasses, egg and water and beat
- In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients then beat into creamed mixture to form a dough
- Divide dough in half. Shape each into a flattened disk and warp in cling film, then refrigerate for 30 minutes
- On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion of dough to 3-5mm thick. Cut into shapes with a floured. gingerbread man cookie cutter
- Place 4-5cm apart on greased baking sheets
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are firm, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely
- Frost and decorate!
