PFL Champions vs. Bellator Champions Set For February 24 PPV

The first-ever PFL PPV Super Fight event will take place in Saudi Arabia

A battle pitting the champions of PFL against fighters from Bellator is finally taking place.

The first-ever PFL PPV Super Fight event will take place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 24. The champions vs, champions fight card features four bouts between PFL champions against current Bellator champions, which will help create a new hierarchy for the fight promotion.

Here are the bouts:

  • The main event: Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader vs. PFL champion Renan Ferreira
  • Undefeated Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen vs. PFL light heavyweight 2023 tournament champion Impa Kasanganay, who will return to fight at 185 pounds
  • Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson vs. two-time PFL champion Magomed Magomedkerimov
  • Bellator Featherweight Champion Patrício “Pitbull” Freire vs. PFL featherweight 2023 tournament champion Jesus Pinedo

Airing live on ESPN+ and DAZN, the card also features non-title bouts. That includes Vadim Nemkov in a heavyweight bout against Bruno Cappelozza (with the winner next in line for a bout against the winner of Bader/Ferreira), Thiago Santos against Yoel Romero in a 205-pound bout, and Clay Collard against AJ McKee at lightweight.

The prelims features Aaron Pico against Gabriel Braga. Biaggio Ali Walsh, who is the grandson of Muhammad Ali, will make his pro debut against Chris Morris, and Claressa Shields will fight Kelsey DeSantis in a women’s lightweight bout.

It will be interesting to see the Vegas odds, but it feels like the Bellator fighters will win the majority of these bouts, especially the four champion vs. champion fights. That would not necessarily be the worst result for the PFL, as these fighters are now all under their employ.

This is, by far, the most significant card in the history of PFL, and it will be extremely exciting to see it play out.
