About The Artwork
Once in a cemetery, I came across a statue of a woman. Her face had been worn so badly, it seemed she was crying. Her face was haunting, and I wanted to capture the essence of the original statue. It's quite amazing how on it's own, the statue is emotionless. But the with the addition of the tears, you can genuinely feel her sadness coming off the paper.
