KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Quinn Kinner’s life and career have not been a straight line.
So it made some sense that he would open his final NCAA Wrestling Championships with an ugly 8-0 loss to Wyoming’s Gabe Willochell only to crawl his way through several tough matches on the backside to claim an 149-pound All-American honor he seemed destined for when he left Kingsway Regional High School as the top-ranked wrestler in his weight class in the country.
