The 4am club is back in session. Mark Wahlberg has just shared a look at his most recent early morning training session, shedding his shirt and flexing his famously muscular physique for the camera in between sets.

The video looks like a full-body workout. Wahlberg can be seen hitting his biceps with a high volume of hammer curls and his back with lat pulldowns. He also includes core training, building rotational power by performing woodchops — on a pneumatic Keiser machine, no less, which adds resistance. He doesn't skip legs either, incorporating weighted calf raises into the session, and he also gets in some cardio on the rowing machine.

In the clip, the actor appears to be coaching his friend Rashid through some movements, encouraging him to lift lighter so that he can 'focus on form' first and foremost. (This is a pretty good universal training tip: you should always be prioritising the proper technique for every exercise, and only add more weight once you're performing each rep correctly.)

Wahlberg's 4am workouts have become famous, ever since the actor first went viral for sharing his intense, packed schedule which includes two gym sessions per day.

'I just get eight hours of sleep, I get up and I make sure that I do all the things that I need to do for myself to be the best version of myself before I've got to wake the kids up,' Wahlberg told Men's Health in 2023. 'I'm not an evening person... I used to be, but for me there's nothing but trouble after those hours, so I like to get up and get it done.'
