I am probably the first person in the world who is claiming that the heart thinks instead of the brain. And to prove this claim of mine, I am also presenting evidence containing many modern facts in this article. First of all, we need to know what tools we have to get information and facts and what is the quality of these tools and how accurate is it.
We have only one source of knowledge in the world. And that is the knowledge of human intellect, every human intellect has its vastness and depth. Every human intellect learns from the superior and experienced intellect of others. We have preserved knowledge containing the rational information of only a few of the human beings who have ever passed through the world. The intellect of the people of each future age is familiar with new experiences and concepts over time and they increase or reject the ideas of the intellect of the previous people. Apart from the intellectual knowledge of other human beings, the human mind also thinks about the universe itself. And it reaches many results individually. Every human being has an angle of intellect. Which are often different from each other's rational knowledge, concepts, and experiences. This is why there are differences of opinion among humans.
Apart from human intellect, there is another source of knowledge. Which is purely irrational and there is no intervention of human intellect in it. This knowledge is free from human intellect. We get this knowledge from outside the universe. And these are the words of the knowledge of Allah that we get in the world through the mediation of the prophets. This knowledge is absolute as compared to human intellect. And there is no doubt of any kind of error in this knowledge. I think that now this knowledge is preserved only in the Holy Quran, the divine book of Islam.
Whenever the human intellect leaves this direct path and goes to another path, it will face numerous problems because the human intellect is additional but not absolute. And we also observe that human beings have their angles of intellect and there is no harmony in it.
In this article, I will first present the definitions of the heart and mind as understood by human intellect and then I will present the definition of the heart and the mind of the divine knowledge of the Holy Qur'an as well as the heart and mind contained in the records of the world. I will also provide links to human reports. And after that, I will present my conclusion in light of these facts
Before proceeding further, I would like to tell you that we can understand the facts of the human heart and mind with a simple formula. Which I can easily explain with the symbol of a triangle in man. Two of them are related to our physical world and one is related to metaphysics. whose names are
1. Heart
2. The Brain
3. Soul (Self)
The heart and mind are part of our physical existence and the soul or (self) is a separate entity that is not a product of the physical existence. In our body, the function of the brain is a communication system and the function of the heart is to deliver food throughout the body. Intentional decisions are at the center of the soul. Since the heart and mind are related to the body, therefore, physical changes take place in them, while the laws of nature do not apply to the soul. Our physical existence is created from organic matter, similarly, the mind and heart are also created from organic matter, while according to the Holy Quran, the soul is not created with the body, but the soul is breathed into this body. Because the soul came into existence before the existence of the material universe, therefore the rules and laws of matter do not apply to it, material laws are the rule of nature that what is created also perishes. For this reason, when death comes to the body, the cells of our body begin to break down and the heart and brain also perish because they are made of organic matter. The soul is not a product of organic matter, it is far removed from material laws, hence it is studied in metaphysics.

"I am thinking therefore I exist."
There are other synonyms for the soul that we speak of every day. For example

3. The human personality
4. The spiritual being of man
5. Nafs Amara "نفس امارہ"
6. Nafs Luwama "نفس لوامہ"
7. Self-satisfied etc "نفس مطمئنہ"
All these words represent the soul. If we understand the heart, mind, and soul as a symbol of a triangle, the central character in this symbol is the soul, while the heart and mind are the material tools of the soul. The brain is like a server in the world of the Internet because information flows from one place to another. Just like the brain is the center of the communication system in our body, its job is to take information from the outside world to the soul or self. And in the same way, by the willpower of the soul, the information of the soul is conveyed to the outer world of the body through the server of the mind.
In what form is the soul? What shape is it? Where is it in the body? What is the truth of it? All these questions cannot be answered by any human being because the soul is immaterial and metaphysical. But man can sense or feel the presence of the soul because of that which is sensed in the body of man. What he calls "I" is the soul. The Holy Qur'an has answered the human intellect when the human intellect questions the reality of the soul.
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً
Surat No. 17 Ayat NO. 85
And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about the soul. Say, "The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And mankind has not been given of knowledge except a little."
The soul is a command of Allah. In Holy Qur'an, one word has been created (خلق) and the other has been (امر) command. According to the philosophy of the Qur'an, the word creation is applied to the material world. When the universe came into being or was created from nothing, then after countless other things were created, but when the universe had not yet come into existence from nothing, at that time the word immortal has been used for the things that already existed. All those entities that are before the existence of the universe will not perish in the universe i.e. in our material world. That is why it is also said about the soul that when man was created in this world, the soul that already existed was breathed into the material body. It is mentioned in the Holy Quran as follows
ثُمَّ سَوّٰىهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيْهِ مِنْ رُّوْحِهٖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْاَبْصَارَ وَالْاَفْـــِٕدَةَ ۭ قَلِيْلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُوْنَ
(سورة السجدة, آیت 9)
Surat No. 32 Ayat NO. 9
"Then He proportioned him and(Allah) breathed into him from His soul(created) and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful."
Similarly, it is said in another place about the soul in the Qur'an that when a person falls asleep, his consciousness is temporarily suspended. And if he dies during that time, the soul does not return and if death does not occur, the soul returns, and consciousness is restored. The Qur'an describes it thus.
اَللّٰهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْاَنْفُسَ حِيْنَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِيْ لَمْ تَمُتْ فِيْ مَنَامِهَا ۚ فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِيْ قَضٰى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْاُخْرٰٓى اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّــقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ(سورة الزمر , آیت 42)
Surat No. 39 Ayat NO. 42
"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed that are signs for people who give thought."
Now, after all this summary, let us see how the human intellect has defined the heart and mind.
The Brain
The position of the brain in the human body is like a communication system and the brain is the center of this communication system. The function of the brain is to carry messages from one place to another in the body. Messages from the human brain system travel from one place to another within the body and similarly the human brain receives information from the outside world and conveys it to the soul or self.

The brain has three main parts.
1_ Cerebrum,
2_ Cerebellum
3_ Brain stem.
1_ Cerebrum: is the largest part of the brain and consists of the left and right hemispheres. It performs higher functions such as interpreting touch, hearing, and vision, as well as fine control of speech, reasoning, emotions, learning, and movement.
2_ Cerebellum: Located at the bottom of the brain. Its function is to coordinate muscle movements, maintain posture, and maintain balance.
3_ Brain stem: Acts as a relay center connecting the brain and cerebellum to the spinal cord. It performs many automatic functions such as breathing, heart rate, body temperature, wake-sleep cycles, digestion, sneezing, coughing, vomiting, and swallowing.

I have stated earlier that the soul is not related to the material world. The mind perceives knowledge from the external world and reaches the soul or self. When the human personality i.e. the soul intends to take information from the outside world, the brain becomes aware of its intention and thus the soul takes information from the outside world of the body by its willpower.

You have heard Dr. Richard C.'s explanation that makes it clear that the heart and mind are intimately connected in our body. And the heart is superior to the brain. That is, the heart is ahead of the brain. This order has been placed in the human body by nature, what is good for the heart will also be good for the brain. And what is harmful to the heart will also be harmful to the brain.
After the material relationship between heart and brain, there are different views of the relationship between mind and heart in philosophy. But first, know what philosophy or science defines the human mind.
According to the Wikipedia record, the human mind is defined somewhat like this. The mind has various faculties including imagination, thought, sensation, memory, and will. Most of them are also identified with the phenomena themselves. The mind is the aggregate of all these faculties of mental phenomena. But I think that this does not seem to be a comprehensive definition of the mind. The mind has been defined in different ways in philosophy and psychology and there are different theories about the relationship between the mind and brain.

Hope you have watched and listened to all of Hank's videos in which Hank explains various philosophical theories of mind and body and in which he mentions a man who has an accident in this accident, A part of his mind becomes paralyzed but still his immaterial personality (mind) or what is his own identity or self, does not make a difference. Similarly, numerous incidents prove that there is another separate existence within the human material body which is the spiritual existence of man. But philosophy and science explain it in their way. We know that both philosophy and science are rational sciences. And we also know that intelligence is additive but not absolute. There is a possibility of error in anything extra since every intellect has a different angle of understanding. Therefore, each intellect will present it in its way. For this reason, philosophy, which is a human rational science, contains different theories of mind and body. You may have seen and heard the explanation of some ideas in the above channel.
Before proceeding further, I think that we should also know the definition of intellect, what is human intellect?
In Wikipedia, wisdom is defined in philosophy as follows.
In philosophical terms, "the ability to logically interpret any argument and then draw its conclusion is called intellect (reason), which to some extent is naturally present in every human being." When the human intellect is applied to and connected with observation and experiment, it is called science in terminology.

Do you know what is the definition of intellect in philosophy? I think that a further meaning of intellect would be something like this.
What is intellect( wisdom)?
1- "Intellect" is the name of our mind's capacity
2_ We have control of this ability.
3_ It means that we use it according to our willpower.
4- Intellect can be used in both positive and negative ways
5_ When positively using the intellect, then constructive results will be produced
6- When negatively using the intellect, then there will be spread ignorance and destructive consequences.
7_ Therefore, ignorance is from the negative use of intellect Spreads. And ignorance is the name of the negative use of reason.
8_ if we understand the System of nature from the positive aspect of intellect, good will arise.
9_ If we negatively use intellect in the system of nature, evil will arise.
10_ If there is a conflict between the intellect and the Qur'an's philosophy, then the intellect should be abandoned and the orders of the Qur'an should be obeyed. It is the welfare of humanity.
11_ If a person prefers his poor intellect to the Qur'an, surely man will remain at loss.
A complete explanation of intellect and mind has been given above, and various theories of mind and body have also been seen. But in science, there is no concept of the soul as a separate entity, but in philosophy, some ideas of the soul are found. But science and philosophy both are sciences of human intellect. And we know that the succeeding intellect of each age continues to modify and add to the intellectual sciences of previous ages. And nothing in philosophy and science is final. However, when the ideas of science reach their evolutionary goals and become facts, then we can call it a reality, apart from all the previous ideas, the further developing intellect of the coming age keeps modifying or adding to these ideas.
In all these details we have examined the available knowledge of the human intellect and found that most of the human intellect has its own experiences and observations. In light of these experiences and observations, every human intellect has its angle, which is often different from one another. And because of these different angles of reason, there are differences of opinion among philosophers and scientists.
After the philosophy of reason, now we come to non-rational knowledge, which is only the words of Allah and which are preserved in the divine book of Islam, the Holy Qur'an. Let's see what the Quran says about the soul, heart, and brain.
As we know that Quran was revealed in the Arabic language. Arabic is a vast and eloquent language. This language can be understood only when we understand the root word of the vocabulary of this language. We have many people who are translators of the Quran in Arabic. But the most authentic translator is he, who will have a personal understanding and research on the Arabic root words. Any language can be translated into another language firstly by the author himself, then by the translator who has access to the language in the same way as the author or the native expert speaker. Otherwise, most translators may make a mistake in translating any language due to their poor knowledge.
There are many words in the Arabic language that can have more than one meaning. And some different words have the same similar meaning. Similarly, some words have different meanings in different sentences. To understand this, let me give an example of English words and then move on to the Arabic language.
Let's take a simple example in the English language for the word (drop):
1_ There was a drop of blood on his clothes.
2_ I was supposed to drop him at the airport.
3_ He was told to put his hands up, and drop his gun.
4_ If you drop tea on the sofa, the stain will stay forever.
5_ If you cry and the tears drop on your cheeks, we will know you were upset.
In any language, many words can be used in different ways; but the one who understands the language and reads it in context, will always easily understand the meaning.
There are three words used for heart in the Arabic language. All three words are different but it is meant in the category of heart.
1_ Qalb (قلب) Heart
2_ Fawad (فؤاد) Heart
3_ Sadar (صدر) Heart
The explanation and meaning of these words, Allama Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz has given his book Lughat Ul Quran in a very well-given way which I am duplicating down there.

Ibn Hashaam has mentioned four of the meanings of قَلْبٌ (qalb):
- Heart.
- Intellect.
- The synopsis of everything
- The best part of anything.
Ibn Faris describes two basic meanings of this root.
- The pure or unadulterated or valued part of anything
- To turn one thing from facing one way to another.
The Arabs say ہَذَا عَرَبِیٌّ قَلْبٌ (haaza arabiyyun qalb). This man is a pure Arab.
Kitaab-al-Ashfaaq says that every pure thing is called قَلْبٌ (qalb).
The Quran has used two words قَلْبٌ (qalb) and فُؤَادٌ (fuwaad).
فُؤَادٌ (fuwaad) is derived from فَاَدَ (fa_ad), which means to roast or heat up. These two words differ broadly in that قَلْبٌ (qalb) is the source of intellect and deliberation, and فُؤَادٌ (fuwaad) is the depository of emotions.
The Quran says:
9:48 (These people kept on planning to) upset matters for you
(they kept on scheming as to how to spoil your plans ) وَقَلَّبُوْالَکَ الْاُمُوْرَ
18:42 He was left wringing his hands یُقَلِّبُ کَفَّیْهِ
47:19 The time or place to be engaged in struggle مُتَقَلَّبَکُمْ

Holy Quran is a divine book. And this universe was created by Allah from nothingness. Man is undoubtedly the creation of Allah. Therefore, only Allah can tell about man, and why man is different and intelligent from all other creatures. The precise concept of the soul is found only in the Qur'an. The soul, or the human self, has a distinct position in the human body. As I have stated earlier that the human being or self or soul perceives information from the external world through hearing and vision. When he is conscious. When any such information comes to a person the quality of his emotions changes. So first of all it affects the human heart. Due to this his heart rate changes. And then the next effect is in the brain. When such conditions arise in the center of the soul, the Holy Qur'an calls this condition Fawad. We know that the emotional state of a person is disturbed at this time. When he (the soul) observes something from the outside world that relates to his feelings. During emotions, different hormones are released in the body, which directly enter the blood and affect different organs of the body. Similarly, the thoughts and concepts that are running in the center of the soul. These thoughts are also directly related to the heart. And they are directly affecting the heart or we can say in the language of the Quran that those thoughts are passing through the heart. Different thoughts have different effects directly on the heart. After the heart, its effects are happening on the brain. If we look at the triangle of the Qur'an that I have already mentioned. If you understand human psychology according to the arrangement of the soul, heart, and brain, you can get out of the many confusions of the present time. But the human intellect has two sciences, one is the knowledge of philosophy and the other is the knowledge of science. The basis of these two sciences is the human intellect and the human intellect is additional but not absolute. The knowledge of the Qur'an is the words of Allah, and the Qur'an itself says that there is no doubt in it, nor will you find any contradiction in it. This is indeed absolute knowledge and with the knowledge of the Qur'an, we can study the psychology of man in every respect correctly.

There is also a word Sadr (صدر) in Holy Qur'an and Allama Pervez has explained it too. Which I am copying from.his book below.
The Quran has called itself شَفَاءٌ لِّمَافِی الصُّدُوْرِ (shifaa-ul lima fis sudoor) in (10:57). It means that it is a treatment and cure for all psychological and mental problems. The Quran deals with the development of the human self which includes the use of emotions, meta-cognition, memory, the human body, etc. The Quran invites us to this aspect e.g. (59:19) and declares that each self by possessing free will is accountable for its deeds in this life. It puts great emphasis on understanding the Quran through the use of human intellect and reasoning and thus understanding the purpose of human creation. The acceptance of the Quranic permanent values and then functioning within these values leads to the development of an integrated self that frees one from the struggle of multi shelves which creates inner conflicts and is the source of many psychological problems. The Quran has made it possible for all of us to access the details of this Integrated Self which provides total freedom from the shackles of all other beliefs.
Such conditions also arise within a person or in the center of his soul when he starts to feel his chest wide. These conditions have been called by the Qur'an as the (صدر) Sadar's words. And the translators have also written the heart.
After that, the Qur'an also used the word Nafs (نفس) for man. When the soul of man is breathed into the body. At that time, the Qur'an called the soul the Nafs (نفس). Nafs is related to desires. This means that when the soul is associated with a body, it will also follow the desires of the Nafs Amara (نفس امارہ). Some negative desires would have led to destruction and some positive desires are not harmful to the person.
Nafs in the Qur'an is the name of a state within man.
The Qur'an has described three states of the soul.
1_ Nafs Amara (نفس امارہ)
A sinful self
2_ Nafs Luwama (نفس لوامہ)
Such a state of self, when a person does something wrong, will be realized later.
3__ Nafs Mutmaina (نفس مطمئنہ)
A state of self in which there is no suspicion of sin. (Self of Prophets)
The above types of self have been mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. Their conditions will also be different in different states of the self.
After that, the word ( شعور) consciousness has also been used for man in the Qur'an. The meaning of the word (Shaoor) شعور in the Qur'an is different. According to the Qur'an, the Arabic word شعور "Shaoor" means to have detailed knowledge about anything. In the Holy Qur'an, the word Layasharoon (لا یشعرون ) is used for the majority of people, which translates as "they do not have awareness" meaning that they do not have detailed knowledge or information about reality.
Allama Ghulam Ahmad has explained the word "شعور " Shaoor (English meaning consciousness) beautifully, I am quoting it below.
Consciousness (شعور )
Consciousness (root word is ش۔ع۔ر ) The basic meaning of this root word is subtlety, but in terms of usage, it means understanding and thinking. In the Arabs, this word was used to express something through it. In our country, this word is spoken for 'Intellect and reason and Understanding and prudence.
After this explanation, let's see how the human intellect has defined consciousness. According to the Wikipedia entry, human consciousness is defined somewhat like this.
In simple words, consciousness is said to be awareness of oneself and one's environment and in English, it is called Consciousness. In medicine and psychology, it is defined as; Consciousness is called a state of mind in which the characteristics of subjectivity, self-awareness, sentience, sapience, and perception are found. After all these details, I will now present the examples to you. Some changes in the physical structure of humans were seen in the world which has shocked even science and scientists were forced to think that what science is considering facts. They are not facts but they are very far from the facts and they have called these unusual facts about the human body miracles because these facts have demolished the scientific building.
For example, in 1991, an American singer named Pam Reynolds Lowery.He was 35 years old when he underwent brain surgery and later lived for many years and died at the age of 53. When he underwent brain surgery in a hospital at the age of 35, he had an observation during the surgery that shocked everyone. During the operation, his brain was deprived of blood and there was no brain wave activity in his brain. She was medically dead. But his consciousness was aware of what was happening during the operation. This has been confirmed by the doctors present in the operation. After these details, the human intellect has defined the brain. This incident has rejected all definitions of the brain which is defined by science. It proves that the intellect of humans is relative. Now I offer the facts in front of you that there are some humans in the world whose part of the brain was disadvantaged, but still they are living a usual life.

Above are all the unusual events that we have in our records. Considering all these facts, philosophy and science, which are rational knowledge, are refuting their ideas. Scientific theories are silent here and doctors are calling these facts miracles because these extraordinary facts are beyond their understanding. According to science, the front and back parts of the brain are responsible for various phenomena, but we saw that in these cases, the human brain is either not the front part (cerebrum) or the back part (cerebellum) or not half of the whole brain. But still, there was no difference in his personality. This proves that there is another existence within human existence which is called spiritual existence. And this existence also has a separate status just like our material existence. The laws of nature apply to our material existence but the laws of nature do not apply to our spiritual existence. Death comes only to material existence and according to the Qur'an, every soul has to taste the taste of death. As long as the soul is with the body, it is in the state of Nafs (نفس) self. That is, the Nafs or self feels every part of the material existence and when death comes to the material body, the Nafs or self tastes the taste of death. It refers to when the soul separates from the dead body and goes to the state of (برزخ) Barzakh. The Arabic word Burzakh appears in the Qur'an which means a veil between the Hereafter and the physical world. Which is called Barzakh.
The result of our discussion has been that we can understand the reality of man only through absolute knowledge. And absolute knowledge does not even doubt human intellect, and this absolute knowledge now exists only in the Holy Qur'an. Whose protection has been taken by Allah himself? No one dares to change it. According to the Qur'an, we can know the psychology and reality of a human being precisely with the help of the soul in him. The heart and mind are the tools of this self or soul of man. The human soul perceives information from the outside world through the brain. The conditions that arise in the center of the human soul or human personality first pass through the human heart. After that, they have an impact on the human brain. The concrete evidence of which I have presented above. The thinking of the heart here means that the change that takes place in the human soul first passes through the human heart. According to the Qur'an, this is what is meant by thoughts passing through the human heart. I hope that if any philosopher, scientist, neurologist, or psychologist reads my article, he will refer to these facts of the Quran. And the present intellect will revise the ideas of the human being.

With the information and evidence provided above, it is concluded that in the material existence of man, there is another existence which is called spiritual existence. And that is a complete human personality. The rest of the material existence is a temporary tool of this spiritual existence. Death comes to the material existence while the spiritual existence moves on to its next destination.
