Beware - No InstructionsJenThere were no ideas booklet (assembly instructions) as is typical of Lego sets. No where does it indicate that you need to buy another $15-20 white box to make it look like the house on the package. I half expected it to contain a mini “base plate”.3

For kids and adults!NancyI am an adult who is new to Lego. I decided to get this kit so I could build freeform while in between actual sets. While I do like the variety, I wish there were more pieces. I'm not trying to build anything humongous, but the amount of bricks in this set only allows for tiny builds, making this more along the lines of an accessory kit. A-ok for a young kid, but anyone older than 8 might not be as enthused.4

Material

What is ABS plastic?

ABS plastic is a strong and stable material with a glossy surface – making it perfect for especially used everyday objects like cutlery drawers, kitchen utensils, toothbrush mugs and bathroom hooks. ABS is made from oil-based, non-renewable raw materials, but development is progressing and we are using more and more recycled ABS. It is an important step towards our goal of only using plastic that is recycled or from renewable sources.

The idea was to make the storage box a part of play and creativity – instead of hiding it away. When a break is needed, the latest fantastic creation can be admired on the lid of the box. And it’s just as easy to take out the box from where it’s being stored and start building again, even if it’s for a little while before school or bedtime.
