Uma Thurman walks the red carpet at Cannes with her son, Levon

Uma Thurman was the picture of elegance as she attended a film premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, 16 May.

The 53-year-old actress looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in a show-stopping outfit. Always one to bring the glamour, Uma opted for a blush coloured gown that looked absolutely beautiful — boasting a plunge neckline, bodice-style top and fit-and-flare floor-length skirt. Over her gown, the actress wore a red satin cape, that made for a show-stopping and elegant look. It has been revealed by designer Dior that her look was designed by the world-famous fashion house.

To accessorise, the star opted for a statement beaded collar necklace in a deep red colour. She wore her signature blonde hair in a tousled updo with waves framing her face and opted for a barely-there makeup look.

And, it wasn't just Uma's stunning look that captured the attention of fans. The actress walked the red carpet with her son — Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke. The 21-year-old is the son of Uma and Ethan Hawke, who were married from 1998 - 2005. In a particularly sweet moment, Uma was seen with her arm around her son — with the two posing for the cameras with huge smiles on their faces.

Uma and Levon were attending the opening event at Cannes Film Festival — the premiere for film Jeanne du Barry. The 76th Cannes Film Festival returns this year and will run from 16 - 27 May.
