AZUSA, Calif. — Jan Lukas Becker left a mark at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Thursday night, re-breaking his school record in the Elite Section of the Men's 10,000m.
Becker clocked an impressive 28 minutes and 40 seconds flat, placing 12th overall in an international field that included Olympians, as well as NCAA DI and DII National Champions.
The Saarbrucken, Germany native feat stands sits atop the Gulf South Conference, and also placed him firmly at No. 5 nationally.
Lastly, Becker now sits inside the top 10 national rankings in three different events - The Men's 5,000m, 10,000m, and 3,000m steeplechase - And is the only athlete in NCAA DII to accomplish this feat.
