Fans of short hairstyles won't be surprised to hear that the pixie is set to be one of the biggest hair trends of autumn 2023. But one thing we definitely didn't see coming was the new take on this trend that Kristen Stewart introduced us to: the curtain bang pixie cut.

The actor debuted a refreshing twist on the pixie at a recent event and we're obsessed. The effortlessly cool haircut sees the meeting of two greats: curtain bangs and a pixie cut.

Kristen Stewart’s ‘curtain bang pixie’

Kristen's new look is proof that curtain bangs don't exclusively suit long or medium-length hairstyles. We got a first glimpse of the new haircut at a Chanel dinner in mid-September when the actor served up a jet black long pixie with curtain bangs. See for yourself:

Kristen wears her curtain bangs in a very classic way, styled with framing strands on either side of her face. She then uses a little gel to create a fringy and grungy finish.

How to style the full look

Kristen Stewart's all black outfit was the perfect look to complement her new cut. Combining a belt and top with a pair of leather shorts, the actor wore black mules with gold buckles to draw the outfit together.

The hair band you can just about see poking through her hair is a black and white bandana twisted through her strands, making for a cool girl grungy finish which could easily be replicated for a low effort but maximum pay off look, even on a bad hair day.
