Why Texas Pink Pomegranate Trees?

If you love pomegranates, you'll want to add this unique Pomegranate Tree to your landscape!

The Texas Pink Pomegranate produces tons of the large, rosy-pink fruit you know and love. Packed with juice-filled seeds, pomegranates are perfect for blending into juices or smoothies, using in savory recipes, and even sprinkling onto breakfast foods or desserts.

But with the Texas Pink Pomegranate, you get a lot more than fruit - this tree is popular as an ornamental accent tree. This Pomegranate Tree blooms with small, bright red flowers with contrasting yellow stamens. Dark green leaves and a gnarled, winding trunk, similar to a bonsai tree, provide the perfect backdrop.

And with a compact size, this tree is perfect for small landscapes, backyard orchards, or even patio containers. And it's incredibly easy to grow. It's tolerant of drought and cold spells, and it's resistant to pests, diseases and deer. And it bears fruit quickly - typically, within just a few growing seasons!

    Doing well so far

I received this tree on March 7th. Overall tree looks healthy. A lot of the soil came out of the pot during transit and tree had some broken branches. I'm hoping the stress of transport doesn't make it loose it's leaves as it has for other trees I've gotten from FGT. Will update review in a few months.

    Texas pomegranate - east texas

It arrived very well packaged, though the dirt in the pot was very loose and mostly fell out and into the plastic bag it was wrapped in. Maybe 3 twigs were snapped in transit. Overall large and well established plant. I got it up-potted and trellised, as of this weekend little leaf buds are emerging! We live in east texas, so I’ll probably cover it if it dips below freezing again but the plant is happy and growing in the yard in our low 70s February weather
