Real Housewives fans please prepare yourself for some truly shocking and surprising news, Denise Richards is officially set to return to Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Denise, who previously appeared on seasons nine and 10 of the show, told Variety she had filmed a number of episodes and enjoyed being back with the cast.

"I have filmed some episodes. And it’s been fun. And you know, I’m a big fan of the show, so it was fun to go back and film a lot of stuff with them," she said.

However before we get really excited, it's important to note Denise will not be returning as an official Housewife, but in a guest capacity; with Denise telling Variety she will not be included in the upcoming promo shots for season 13.

Denise told Variety her first appearance on the show was allegedly unplanned and she was supporting current Housewife Garcelle Beauvais's screening. It was after reuniting with the rest of the cast that she was then reportedly asked to film additional scenes.

She said: "This all just happened recently on the spur of the moment. I was at her [Garcelle] screening as a friend — like a real friend — I didn’t tell anyone I was gonna be there. Production didn’t know. I just showed up, like, for real life, as a real friend in real life.

"The next day, I was asked to go to some events — and so it’s been actually fun."

Denise first appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2015 as a guest on season five. A few years later, she joined the cast as an official housewife in 2019 for season nine and 10.

She quit the series after season 10, telling Variety she felt some of the women on her season were "very toxic" and played "so dirty".

She added: "I understand there has to be drama, but I also think it’s fun to see women having fun, especially this age group."

We can't wait to see Denise's return.
