My GShock

A model from "PRO TREK" that improves outdoor usability by linking to the dedicated "CASIO WATCHES" app via Bluetooth®. Realizes a quad sensor able to measure number of steps, direction, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature. Records calories burned, altitudes acquired by the watch, and routes acquired via smartphone GPS in the app. Automatic time adjustment is made possible worldwide via simplification of various settings. It is also able to automatically correct the altimeter and calculate sunrise and sunset times. Also makes it possible to turn modes on/off, and to enjoy customization by switching the displays on the app. The fine resin back cover uses a structure that integrates with the lugs. Both the button guard and case have been made more robust. The wide dial uses Arabic indices to ensure high visibility. Metal parts are used for the bearing indicator, and colors reminiscent of the outdoors are used as accents. Additionally, the entire surface of the urethane band has been given a 3D texture to prevent the band keeper from slipping, which improves usability in outdoor scenarios.

CASIO WATCHES

CASIO WATCHES

Display records of your activity, such as routes you have traveled and calories burned.
You can also use your smartphone to change various watch settings.

Automatic Time Adjustment

The watch is reset regularly 4 times a day by the smartphone to show both home time and world time correctly. You can also reset the watch manually with just a push of a button when crossing between time zones. The precise time in the current location is displayed instantly with DST (daylight saving time) taken into account.

World Time for over 300 cities

The smartphone app can be used to conduct world time city selection. After a city is selected by touch from a world map or a city list containing over 300 cities, the time in the selected city is displayed on an inset dial with DST (daylight saving time) taken into account.

Accurate Time System

Accurate time information (UTC) is acquired by a smartphone from a time server on the Internet. The smartphone then analyzes this time data and its own current positioning data regarding the time zone and DST (daylight saving time) status of the current location and resets the watch to the correct time automatically. Since Wi-Fi communication is also possible, the smartphone can also acquire time information in indoor environments such as airports or subways.
