A bespoke Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport built to celebrate the Year of the Dragon in 2012 has hit the market just in time for the Chinese New Year. While the car is 12 years old, it looks just as good now as it did when it was new and looks to have been well-maintained throughout the years.
The car is known as ‘Wei Long’ and was first presented at the Beijing Auto Show back in 2012. It was built with several bespoke elements not found on any other Veyron. For example, there are dragon heads carved into the porcelain inserts on the oil and fuel caps and it sits on a special set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels with a diamond-cut finish and red accents. The porcelain center caps also have a dragon motif.

Adorning the rest of the bodywork is a simple shade of Porcelain White with a handful of brushed aluminum and gloss black accents. Then we have the interior which is arguably even more lovely than the exterior. Both seats are bathed in bright red leather and include Chinese text on the headrests. Bugatti also equipped it with a white porcelain dragon sculpture on the rear firewall while also adding distinctive inlays on the transmission tunnel.

Collecting Cars is handling the auction of the hypercar and notes that it currently has 8,428 km (5,236 miles) on the clock. It has been routinely serviced throughout the years and was most recently serviced by Bugatti Switzerland in November last year. It is currently located in Monaco and of the 58 Veyron Grand Sports that were built, this is number 50.
It’ll be interesting to see how much the car sells for. Over the past couple of years, used Veyrons have been trading hands for around $1.5 million but it’s possible the uniqueness of this model could see it sell for just a little more.
