A very intriguing 2003 Chevrolet SSR has just been listed up for auction through eBay.

The most obvious upgrades made to the truck start from the outside and include various new parts crafted by Slang500, an award-winning SEMA builder. Among the areas of custom fabrication include the distinctive body kit, unique front grille, aluminum door handles, a rear diffuser, and a stainless steel exhaust. The SSR has also reportedly received a $10,000 paint job.

From a mechanical standpoint, the 5.3-liter V8 has been adorned with a Magnusson TVS1900 supercharger, a liquid-to-air intercooler, a front-mounted heat exchanger, a dedicated electric water pump, and pumps out a cool 470 hp and 501 lb-ft (679 Nm) of torque. Custom front suspension components and a custom rear axle are also present. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein sport shocks, Simple Engineering lower springs, and Simple Engineering bushings to improve the handling of one of the most special trucks ever created.

Then there’s the interior which the seller describes as “the elephant in the room.” The cabin is clad in bright yellow and blue leather and features a matching Alcantara headliner, leather-wrapped dashboard, thick pile carpets, and a new steering wheel. The SSR also rocks an Alpine infotainment system, Kicker speakers, and a Soundstream amplifier.

Interestingly, the seller says that if the car sells for the $35,000 Buy It Now price, he will give the winning bidder $1,750 to change out the interior.

Rounding out the modifications are a set of three-piece HRE wheels that measure 22×9.5 at the front and 22×13 at the rear. They are wrapped in 285/25 and 365/20 Toyo Proxes tires.

The listing notes that the car has a Rebuilt Title after being involved in a garage flood but the seller claims it sustained no damage.
