Erykah Badu Breaks The Internet With Butt-Baring Thirst Trap

It’s a Badu kind of world, and we’re just living in it.

Erykah Badu's derrière is Badu-approved.

On Monday (March 4), the "Window Seat" hitmaker gave fans a front-row seat to her bum in her latest post on Instagram. In the post, she also used it as a moment to unapologetically celebrate her underarm hair.

"U gone get this work … I been doin this," she wrote in the caption of the post. "- e.Badu (green latex )," she continued.

She also added a voiceover to the post that explained why she is obsessed with wearing latex.

"Lately, I love wearing form-fitting things, latex especially, pulls in everything where it's supposed to be pulled," she began in the message. "Plus, it's shiny and you can well it up and it's beautiful. (Not just for fetishes or sex.) Of course, you can use it for that too, but I like it because it accentuates my work."

"And when I talk about work, I mean, you gonna get this work is what I'm talking about," she continued. "Been a dancer all my life. I feel really comfortable. And I hope you enjoy it. Peace."

Although the singer provided a sweet disclaimer, I reckon the world wasn't ready.

The post featured a video montage that captured her in different moments that appeared to be backstage.

As the video opens, Badu is seen posing in the bodysuit with her arms above her head, while flaunting the fuzz of her beloved armpits. She also rocked her signature long braids that were accentuated by bangs adorned with red beads.

It also appears her post is a reflection of her look at the 2023 GQ Men Of The Year Awards in Berlin, Germany. During that event, she made a statement in the same ensemble, but remixed it with a giant black hat and long red coat.

She kept the edginess of this look by topping it off with a thick black cat eye and dramatic lower lashes.

Another frame from the video highlights her standing on a stage wearing the latex number and over-the-knee leather boots while holding a microphone in front of an audience.

Other shots from the video include her donning a metallic outfit and her on set of a photoshoot as she sits on a wooden block with her legs crossed.

The famed "Tyrone" singer wrapped the video with a black and white snap of her as she peers into the camera lens.
