Description:
DaVinci Roofscapes Province Slate Transition Tiles are made without an alignment ledge on the back. Everywhere there is a metal flashing between courses, transition tiles are used. When necessary, coursing can also be changed using transition tiles. Following the first transition tile, succeeding tiles may be ordinary Province field tiles. By removing the rear ledge with a knife or planer, a transition tile can be made. Regular field tiles may be used for unused transition tiles, but a chalk line must be used to preserve straight coursing. This product resist water absorption, which eliminates freeze-thaw issues and allows for installation in all weather conditions, resulting in a durable and long-lasting tile suitable for any climate.
