Was excited to get this for our first Christmas in our own home; took it opened the box and glitter was covering the top but no big deal. I continued to take it out of the box and immediately saw spots that were knicked, spots all over it that bubbled up including on the windows. Gave it four starts though because, well, despite all that it still looks great and it lights up and it’s as noticeable since it’s gonna be on top of a 7.5 foot tree.

I honestly am not a huge fan of some of the Kurt Adler products because the quality is hit or miss. But I’m really glad I took a chance on the because having a TARDIS tree was the best and it’s very well made. The light should come with a seizure warning though... thr flashing is a little intense.

My wife is a big Dr Who fan and she loved this addition to our tree. It is a touch bit on the large size, so it looks a bit too big on a 7' tree. Lights work great, and it's just funny and cool. I doubt it'll last forever, the build quality is pretty good with an ok grade and thickness of plastic.

I'll be honest, I expected a lot more from this product for the price. First off, it's battery powered (and uses tiny little watch batteries) which makes it lighter but also means you can't just leave it on all the time unless you have plenty of extra batteries handy. Also, the actual light is pretty much a mini strobe light. It flashes all the time (there is no other setting) and it's not a very bright light, so it can be hard to see against all those other brilliant holiday lights. (My boyfriend also complained that the strobe effect gave him a headache if I left it on, so there's that, too.) The only reason this thing costs as much as it does is the designer label. It's cool, sure, but leaves a lot to be desired, especially as a tree topper. It's as disappointing as the 12th and 13th Doctors are, so I guess it's appropriate.
