It’s a good deal if you buy a damaged one for $60ish. But the wood isn’t full pieces it’s all finger jointed the front, top, and sides then the bottom is just partial bored. MOST IMPORTANT throw the screws away they just strip out. I sanded it down and stained it to match the other mantle in my house, it seemed to be painted wood not stained. But overall worth the damaged price $60 maybe not the full $140.

This mantle is a good choice! The price is good, it came packaged really well, and mounting is super easy. We didn’t want it to stick out 8 inches so my husband trimmed 3 inches off the back with a table saw. The only thing is the color description is NOT accurate… at least for the gray. The color still looked great in our living room though!

The natural color is very dark and brown. The craftsmanship on this is extremely poor. On the front of the mantle there is a foot long area of wood filler where they tried to cover up a big crack in the wood. It’s on a main focal point of the mantle so I am surprised this even left their facility it’s so noticeable. There is also a large gap where the edges on the top meet that is very noticeable, along with some areas where the stain was not applied evenly. For this price, I really recommend not purchasing this item and either building it yourself or finding a higher quality alternative.
