The Lord of Universe – Shri Jagannath.

JAGANNATH THE LORD OF UNIVERSE here are some interesting’s facts which one must know:-

FACT NO 1:- In the whole universe Lord Jagannath is the only God who leaves his home (GARBGRAH) and comes on road to meet his devotees, i.e on the day of RATH YATRA everyone can see him and pull the chariot.

FACT NO 2:- Lord JAGANNATH is that one God who hands are always open, or welcomes his devotees with open arms and hugs his devotees if one prays to him. Rest all the Lord are in ABHAY MUDRA means gives ashirwad.

FACT NO 3:- If you look at lords Jagannath eyes one will see that he always has big wide open eyes (starry look or vishal annkhien) and also red colours because Lord Jagannath can see the smallest Asset or quality (gun or khubi) of his devotee. His eyes are like binoculars even the smallest quality of his devotee is elaborated by Lord JAGANNATH. And its red in colour because he has compassion for his devotees (daya ka suchak) (dayalu) and very generous in nature means PATIT PAVAN DAYALU.

FACT NO 4:- We all love to eat similarly, Lord Jagannath loves to eat as well and he is called the eating god. In jagannath puri Lord Jagannath loves to have his BHOG and it’s also known as worlds biggest kitchen is Lords Jagannath kitchen. Lord jagannath granted a wish to King Indrayadum when he asked for “that when you finish eating the first bhog and before you wash your hand the second bhog must be ready in front of you” So Lord jagannath is always eating. ANNA BRAHAM – God saw that no one chants mantra, or does sadhana, penance nor does anyone followes any rule but all of them eat food so he entered food and becomes ANNA BRAHAN. So Lord Jagannath give his mercy through his prasadam.

FACT NO 5:- In the whole world Lord Jagannath is the only god who does not have eyelashes because he loves to see his devotes all the time (kripa drishti) hence he does not sleep if any one goes to Jagannath Puri temple at night around 1am he will get his darshan.

FACT NO 6:- If you have done the yatras of Badrinath Dham, Dwarka Dham, Rameshwaram Dham but not visited Lord Jagannath in Puri, you wont get the blessings of the three dham one will get only or first he visits Jagannath Dham as it is the ULTIMATE DEITY among the CHAR DHAM YATRA. In Jagannath puri Lord Krishna came in the form of ARCHA VIGRAHA ROOP and in rest of places he came in the form of MANUS OR HUMAN. The other place like rameshwaram he came in form of Lord Ram, in Dwarka he came in form of Shri Krishna and Badrinath he came in form of Shri Narayan. That is why if you only do Jagannath Puri yatra and did not do the other yatra you will get the fruits of all the four Dham.

FACT NO 7:- According to Hindu Shatra when God gets up in the morning and meditate he goes to Badrinath Dham after that when god dresses up and handles his kingdom he goes to Dwarka Puri from there he rules, when god has to rest he goes to Rameshwaram Dham but when God wants to eat he goes to JAGANNATH PURI.

FACT NO 8:- According to shatra if someone simply walks towards Jagannath Puri it is considered as revolving almost three round of earth (prithvi ki parikrima karne k Barbara hota hai). Goddess Laxmi once told Yamraj (lord of death) that if someone walks in Jagannath puri he or she is considered to have done all the prilgrime of this planet and also if someone comes and sleeps in Jagannath Puri he also attains all the fruits or powers of meditation or sadhana. Isn’t this amazing fact!!!

FACT NO 9:- Especially for those people who can not go inside Jagannath Puri temple like Muslim, Christians or foreigners etc can do his darshan by seeing the neel chakra on top of the Jagannath temple which is equivalent of having the darshan of Lord Jagannath.

FACT NO 10:- When God wants to chill, relax or wants to go on a holiday he goes to Jagannath Puri Dham also know as SHANKH SHETRA (in shape of shankh) over the Neeladri Parvat he relaxes and in the walls of Jagannath Puri its written that “Jagannath hisabh koruchu” that is there is no jurisdiction of YAMRAJ IN JAGANNATH PURI DHAM ONLY LORD JAGANNATH WILL PREVAIL. In skandh puran its mentioned that Lord does not leave Jagannath puri once also.
