After reacquiring the rights, Microprose have confirmed they are laying the groundwork for Falcon 5.0. Until more info becomes available just don't ask for a release date :)

I haven't been able to find much on this topic. How does Falcon BMS compare to DCS modules in general, or the DCS F16 module in particular? DCS as far as I can tell has the most advanced simulation of both flight models as well as systems. Most other sims lag pretty far behind in both categories. From the videos that I've watched about Falcon BMS it is hard to say what level of simulation is there....

OK yep i installed it and it does give the game up dated resolution, but its a mess. Firstly there is no way to get rid of the launcher once it starts. There is no exit button or x to close it down. When it game the screen just freezes and i cannot go to desktop to close the game down. Microprose the original developer of Falcon and other flight sims has just reacquired the rights to Falcon and other flight sims. They thanked the BMS team too. What this means in practice remains to be seen. Looks like major upgrades and enhancements are in the works. This is a really great development. I started playing Falcon in the 80's.
