Filippo Inzaghi: "Without Dia we leave our pens"

Filippo Inzaghi è introduced himself in a press conference as the new coach of Salernitana: "When I went to Brescia they called me crazy, when I went from Milan in A to Venezia in C they told me I was crazy. Now they ask me who made me do it since Salernitana è penultimate".

"I am the happiest person in the world. When I understand what I represent for people my sadness passes, I want to convey what I am".

"C'è people who bring home the Champions and then get exonerated after a few months. It is up to me to do as little damage as possible, we coaches get head over heels and think we have invented soccer but on the field the players go. I have to enhance their potential, without granting alibis".

Paulo Sousa's heir put as one of the first goals the recovery of Boulaye Dia: "For me è a first forward, but he can also play together with another forward or trequartista. È a footballer who has to be recovered, he has to score 15 goals for us otherwise we won’t bring home the pens".
