Kraven cast adds Alessandro Nivola in villain role

It appears yet another villain will be appearing in the upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie as Alessandro Nivola has joined the cast in an unknown villain role.

According to Deadline, Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) has signed on to play the villain of the film.

The cast for Kraven is rapidly expanding with Aaron Taylor-Johnson is playing Kraven, while Oscar-winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, The Loudest Voice) has reportedly joined the cast as his father. And Fred Hechinger has signed on as The Chameleon as well, while Ariana DeBose is onboard as Calypso.

J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year, Margin Call) is directing Kraven from a script by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk.

Kraven is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 13, 2023. With this release date in mind, filming should be kicking off at virtually any moment now.
