A little note on the design of the Sofia Art Residency logo. In the middle there is the cyrillic letter Ф (F), derived from So(f)ia and also one of my favourite letters in the Bulgarian alphabet. It is also quite universal looking, it evokes a centre for exploration, a point of access and even a musical note. The golden yellow colour references the famous yellow brick road in the centre of Sofia.
