The Jönköping University Foundation or the Jönköping University (abbreviated as JU) is a non-profit private educational institution that has been active in scientific and academic activities since 1977 in Sweden. The university has its own small student urban campus in Jönköping.
Jönköping University (JU) is a professionally oriented university that is one of only three institutions in Sweden that award doctoral degrees. The institution is particularly valuable for its high degree of internationalization, entrepreneurial spirit and extensive cooperation with local and foreign organizations.
About 12,400 students study at the university, of which about 1960 are foreigners from North America, Asia and other countries. Pathway programs are preparatory courses designed to help international students improve their knowledge and meet the requirements of undergraduate or graduate programs. On the Pathway course, students will be able to improve their level of linguistics, improve their knowledge of specialized disciplines and mathematics, improve critical thinking and social skills, and prepare in advance for the university's complex academic plan.

- Student residences are located throughout the city and can accommodate from 20 to 550 students. The rooms are prepared for 1-4 students and have bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets, small kitchens and living rooms. Depending on the number of neighbors and distance from campus, the price may vary.
