In Maltese, there are many ways to say goodbye. The most common way is to say "Saħħa". This is a formal way of saying goodbye. You can also use the informal version "Saħħa għalik". This is used when you are talking to someone you know well.

If you want to be more specific about the time of day, you can use the phrases "Saħħa lejlik" (goodbye evening), "Saħħa nnifisha" (goodbye night), or "Saħħa tard" (goodbye late afternoon).

You can also use the informal phrases "Saħħa tajba" (goodbye informal), "Saħħtek" (goodbye informal), or "Jiena qed nieħu tajjebek saħħtek" (I am leaving informal).

Finally, you can also use the phrase "Ħadd ma jkollux" which means "take care". This is a nice way to say goodbye and wish someone well.
