About this app

The keyboard can be used in a phonetic layout and BDS layout. The app stores the written words and uses them for writing suggestions.
There is also a possibility to include a spell-checking converter that checks each word written and matches it with the Ivanchev spelling rules.

To turn on and select the keyboard, please follow one of the three ways described below:

1. In the application menu (accessible through its icon), follow the on / off buttons on the keyboard.

2. Press and hold the Space button or to the left of the Globe icon -> Choose keyboards -> Activate.

3. From Settings -> Additional settings -> Language & input -> Current keyboard -> Choose keyboards -> Activate.

Select a keyboard layout (phonetic or BDS) and turn on / off suggestions for words, spell-checker, and vibration:

- In the application menu again, follow the "Settings"

OR

- Through Settings -> Additional settings -> Language & input -> Current keyboard -> Choose keyboards -> Keyboard with Ѣ (YAT) and Ѫ (YUS) -> Select a keystroke vibration.

The Ivanchev spelling is the name given to the first official Bulgarian spelling, introduced by an ordinance of the Minister of National Education, Todor Ivanchov in 1899. It remains in force until the introduction of the Omarchev spelling in 1921, and in 1923, with some modifications, was restored in its basic positions and has been operating until the Communist Spelling Reform of 1945.
