Uma Thurman’s Hamptons romance with architect Peter Sabbeth heats up

Uma Thurman has found love again in the Hamptons amid the pandemic, thanks to a chance beach encounter because of a dog. The actress is dating architect Peter Sabbeth, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Sources said Thurman and Sabbeth, a 50-year-old principal at the well-regarded Oza Sabbeth architects, met by chance on the beach in Sag Harbor this summer.

A source told us, “Peter had no idea who Uma was at the time. She was walking on the beach, known locally as Long Beach, near him, so he asked her to watch his dog while he took a swim.” Thurman is a dog lover and has been photographed walking her Italian greyhound rescue pup and a little pug.

The source continued, “Uma said OK, watched his dog while he swam, and now, a few months later, they are madly in love and looking to buy a home together in the Hamptons.”

“Pulp Fiction” star Thurman, 50, has been quarantining in the Hamptons over the past few months with her three kids. She has a daughter, Maya, and son, Levon, with ex-husband Ethan Hawke. They separated in 2003 and finalized their divorce two years later.

She also has a daughter, Rosalind (a.k.a. Luna), with French financier Arpad Busson, from whom she split in 2014. Thurman has also been linked to under-fire Chateau Marmont hotelier André Balazs, who also operates the chic Sunset Beach on Shelter Island, which has been closed during the pandemic.

Thurman has spoken about the difficulties she has faced in her personal life. She said in 2005 after playing a single woman in the film “Prime,” “I know what it’s like to wake up a decade later and be single again and alone again, and thinking you had a plan and the plan got derailed.”

The “Mad Dog and Glory” actress also told Oprah, “Our marriage failed. I should take full responsibility for the failure of my marriage. Blaming anybody doesn’t make you feel any better.”
