The Cranberries released a new album featuring vocals from late singer Dolores O’Riordan today.
The legendary Irish front-woman died by drowning due to alcohol intoxication in January 2018 at the age of 46.
The band’s posthumous release features never-before-heard vocals from the unique voice.
Announcing the release on Twitter, the group wrote: “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, our fans and followers for the support you have given us throughout our career.
“Especially in the past year and throughout the release of our final album, ‘In The End,’ it has meant the world to us.
“And we would above all ask you to join us in thanking Dolores for leaving the songs and the music that enabled us to make this album, and her family for giving us their blessing to put these recordings out.”
The 11-track album titled “In The End” was announced last year.
“All Over Now,” the first single from the album, was released on Jan. 15, the first anniversary of O’Riordan’s death.
The tragic singer was found submerged in bathwater by a maid at the Park Lane Hilton in London.
An inquest heard that she had drowned after downing spirits and champagne in her hotel room.
The musician was four times over the legal drinking limit when she died, a report found.
The inquest also heard she was on a number of prescription drugs for bipolar disorder, and her doctor said she may have had “an episode of mania or elevated mood.”
She was laid to rest in her native Ballybricken, County Limerick, as family, friends and fans paid their respects to the 46-year-old.
Dolores had been the lead singer for The Cranberries since the 1990s and led them to global success with hits such as “Linger” and “Zombie.”
The band shot to international fame with their 1993 debut album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We” and went on to sell over 40 million records worldwide.
In 2017 The Cranberries announced a tour including dates in Europe, the UK and the US.
However, in May 2017, they had to cancel the remainder of the European dates as a result of O’Riordan’s health issues.
The official Cranberries website cited “medical reasons associated with a back problem” preventing her from performing.
