I forgive you if you didn't even know Acer makes smartphones. But it does!

The Taiwanese company mostly known for its cheap Windows PCs announced a new budget Android smartphone called the Liquid Zest Plus.

The Liquid Zest Plus will cost under $250. It has a 5.5-inch HD (1,280 x 720) resolution display and a 13-megapixel back camera with laser autofocus.

That's not too shabby for a budget smartphone, but its biggest feature (literally) is its 5,000 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery.

That's noticeably more capacity than flagship smartphones like Samsung's Galaxy S7 (3,000 mAh) and S7 Edge (3,600 mAh), the LG G5 (2,800 mAh), the iPhone 6S Plus (2,750 mAh) and the HTC 10 (3,000 mAh).

Acer says the Liquid Zest Plus will be able to last up to two days, but with such a huge battery, we're curious to know if that's just the company tempering expectations.
