Trixon Aluminium Metal Doumbek
• Hand forged aluminum Darbuka.
• 8″ Head – 14″ Height.
Darbuka drums are constructed from thin shells in various metals, each metal giving the different models their special timbre. The head is secured and tuned with external rings set close to the shell, in the Turkish-style. Light yet powerful, the darbukas have a deep full bass. They are well suited for high-pitched snapping sounds as well as a wide range of articulated “doum” and “tak” strokes.
These Turkish style hand drums feature fat lows and ringing highs with a wide range between.

Each shell layer is pure Eastern Yellow Birch. The layers are laminated using high PSI steam and low glue volume for a melodic and rich sound. This technology allows for a single cylinder lug attached to the absolute middle of the drum shell to be anchored into the shell by multiple attachment points.
