Isabelle Fuhrman is back as Esther! Thirteen years after ‘Orphan’ was released, the 24-year-old reprises the role of the iconic child serial killer in ‘Orphan: First Kill.’ See photos of the actress then and now.

Isabelle Fuhrman had her breakout moment in 2009 when she starred as the supposed 9-year-old child psycho Esther in ‘Orphan.’ The big twist is that Esther is actually 33 years old and posing as a child. Isabelle, who was 12 years old when the movie was released, returns to the role in the 2022 prequel ‘Orphan: First Kill.’

Isabelle is now 24 years old. The team behind ‘Orphan: First Kill’ didn’t use any CGI to de-age her to look like a child. Practical effects, smart lighting, and camera angles were used to help Isabelle’s transformation. She looks the exact same!

In between ‘Orphan’ and ‘Orphan: First Kill,’ Isabelle has appeared in several other films. She had a notable role in ‘The Hunger Games’ as Clove. The actress also had the recurring role of Tessa in ‘Masters of Sex’ and appeared in the 2021 film ‘Escape Room: Tournament of Champions.’ See more photos of Isabelle Fuhrman then and now.
