Fast X (2023) 3D - Blu-ray Forum

I take back my words from the Upcoming 3D Movies thread, apparently Fast X is indeed getting a 3D release on May 19... in India as of now. I was just casually surfing through BookMyShow (India's Fandango) and found out about this yesterday night. I even checked the individual multiplex websites and contacted the one at my place about this to verify... and it looks like it is happening, but as a limited release like the previous F&F 3D releases.

All the previous Fast & Furious films (Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, Hobbs and Shaw) got a 3D release in India except F9 for some unknown reason. Unfortunately I haven't caught them back in the day, so it looks like I'll be watching my first F&F film in cinemas, in 3D.

Hopefully we get more news of a 3D release in more countries like the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia etc. This is most probably a last-minute 3D conversion from the way it's unfolding, no mention of stereo in IMDb, because this is one hell of a surprise. And I kinda believe DNEG is behind the 3D conversion since they have worked on F9, along with ReDefine (RRR, Scream VI). Nonetheless very much looking forward to it.

So a theatrical 3D run in India and Germany seems to be confirmed.

Hoping for a disc by RSM in the future.

Didn’t RSM already confirm they won’t be able to release the other Fast and Furious 3D movies? If so, I’m sure this one will have the same fate.

With a limited run like this ? no way, it has to go world wide to get better odds. You can use the previous 3 as example.

Idk what the point in announcing these Fast And Furious movies in 3D is it's not like we're ecer gonna get to see them. They never release over here in the US and there definitely aren't aby plans by Universal to release them on Blu-Ray 3D.

Saw Fast 9 in 3D in the cinema. Even though I'm a big fan of 3D.. it did'nt make it more enjoyable to watch. Shame.

sad but indeed needed. if it'd go back to the street racing part, I'd be all over it. at least they're laughing at the ridiculousness themselves. There could be several side spinoff anyway, I'd still watch it, been a fan since #1 and it's always good flicks, no matter what the critics says.

After Fast XI, they will reboot the series as Furious 'n Fast and then reach up to 11 again.

Sadly, none of the 3D Furious films ever made it to my theaters in the US otherwise I would have watched the films. This one looks kind of interesting though, so I might check it out.

I wonder if any of them had a different Atmos track? The German one was (I may be wrong on bits) 16 bit audio vs 24bit on the UHD. I wonder if say the HK disc is 24 bit. I know the listing here says 24 on the German disc, but it is 16.
