Rachel Weisz, best known as one of the stars of Inspector Morse and its sequel The Scarlet and Black, first began acting at Cambridge’s Cambridge Talking Tongues theatre group before making the transition to movies with Chain Reaction (1996); Death Machine (1994) being her debut feature film; an Oscar nomination followed later with Stealing Beauty which earned a London Critics Circle Award nomination; finally her breakthrough came when The Mummy (both 1999) and its sequel (The Mummy Returns, 2000) made her an industry superstar star!

She has since gone on to appear in several more movies, such as Enemy at the Gates, Beautiful Creatures, About a Boy, Constantine, and The Fountain – where her performances have garnered critical acclaim and earned Academy and Golden Globe nominations as well as multiple BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild awards nominations and wins.
