Orlando Bloom joining Katy Perry in Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special

Peppa Pig set the internet ablaze upon the announcement that Katy Perry would appear on the show's anniversary special — and now, her partner Orlando Bloom is joining the party.

EW can exclusively reveal that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor will make his debut on the beloved children's show for its 20th anniversary special, the Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special. Bloom will play Mr. Raccoon, a jeweler who helps Mr. Bull and Ms. Cow prepare for their nuptials.

Meanwhile, Perry will voice Ms. Leopard, who also helps the community prep for the wedding. Both Bloom and Perry completed their work prior to the beginning of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which continues as actors seek a fair contract with Hollywood's studios and streamers.

Bloom and Perry have been romantically linked since 2016, and have one daughter together. The duo has only appeared on screen together on one previous occasion: a one-minute short/advertisement from 2021 called "Transmissions From the Future" in which future versions of Bloom and Perry encourage viewers to call their senators to support the For The People act.

Earlier this year, Bloom returned to the big screen in Gran Turismo. He's set to next appear in Wizards! alongside Pete Davidson and Naomi Scott. Meanwhile, Perry is nearing the end of her two-year residency in Las Vegas.

The Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special will be a three-part event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series, and will debut on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon sometime in spring 2024.
