About this object

This handmade hewn cudgel was made from a tree branch with lengths of fencing wire wrapped around its head. It was possibly made by a man named Kennedy during the Parramatta Park riot on the 17th July 1932.The cudgel was confiscated and the man was charged for being armed with an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offense.
