Grey Heron
Ardea cinerea
無危。留鳥及冬候鳥。大型水鳥。體羽以黑、灰、白色為主，成鳥羽色對比鮮明，幼鳥以淡灰色為主。叫聲為「閣—閣—」聲。見於后海灣一帶各類型濕地。
Least Concern. Common Residents and Winter Visitors. Large waterbird covered in black, grey and white. Adults have contrasting plumage. Juveniles are mainly grey. Voice a “kok-kok”. Usually stands still in water for long periods, ready to seize prey swimming nearby. Found in various wetland habitats around the Deep Bay area.
