11k-Mile 2006 Chevrolet SSR 6-Speed

Sold for $38,000 on 3/14/23

This 2006 Chevrolet SSR remained registered in Oklahoma until the selling dealer’s acquisition in January 2023, and it now has 11k miles. The truck is finished in Smokin’ Asphalt over Ebony leather and is powered by a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, the 3SS package, chrome-finished 19″ and 20″ wheels, silver-finished running boards, power-operated heated seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash CD changer and a Bose sound system. This SSR is now offered by the selling dealer in Kansas with manufacturer’s literature, soft SSR-branded saddle bags, a truck cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oklahoma title.

Built on a modified version of the GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, the SSR’s styling was inspired by post-war Chevrolet trucks. This example is finished in Smokin’ Asphalt (41U) and is equipped with a power-operated retractable hardtop, a tinted rear window, fog lights, silver running boards, and polished Corsa dual exhaust outlets. Paint imperfections on the front end, in front of the rear wheels, and on the rear bumper cover are noted in the photo gallery and walk-around video below.

Chrome-finished 19″ and 20″ wheels are wrapped in 255/45 front and 305/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires showing 2022 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats trimmed in Ebony leather, and equipment includes body-color accent trim, SSR-branded floor mats, air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash CD changer and a Bose sound system. The driver-side door panel insert is wrinkled and creases are shown on the driver-side seating surfaces. The carpet near the right of the gas pedal is said to have been repaired under current ownership.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for voltage, torque, and outside temperature are mounted below the center console and feature satin silver-finished bezels. The digital odometer indicates 11k miles.

The carpeted cargo bed is accented with wood strips and topped by a body-color hard tonneau cover. A set of soft SSR-branded saddle bags is included in the sale.

The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque when new. A K&N cold air intake was installed under previous ownership, and service in preparation for the sale included an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corsa rear exhaust components have been installed. Corrosion is present on the underbody, and additional photos are shown in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Oklahoma.
