This Chevrolet SSR got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2004 Chevrolet SSR is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Ultra Violet Metallic over Ebony leather. Equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, integrated running boards, wood cargo floor rub strips, a sport suspension, power-adjustable twin bucket seats, remote keyless entry, cruise control, and air conditioning. The current owner acquired the truck in 2021 and has added approximately 1,200 of the 16k miles. This SSR is now offered by the seller in Connecticut at no reserve on behalf of the current owner with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title.
The SSR was built on a modified version of the GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, and its styling was inspired by the Chevrolet Advance Design family of trucks. This example is finished in Ultra Violet Metallic with a color-matched hardshell tonneau cover, a power-retractable hardtop, and hood, tailgate, and bodyside graphics. Additional equipment includes flush-mounted halogen headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as flush-mounted taillights, power-operated heated side mirrors, integrated running boards, and dual polished exhaust tips. The carpeted cargo bed is accented with wood strips.
Silver-finished 19″ front and 20″ rear five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires that measure 255/45 up front and 295/40 out back. The SSR was equipped from the factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. A brake fluid flush was carried out in January 2021.
The twin power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are upholstered in Ebony leather. Body-color wraparound trim accents the cabin, while satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a color-keyed waterfall console an AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, SSR-branded floor mats, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames SSR-branded instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter Vortec 5300 V8 wears an engine cover with SSR-branding and was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The differential fluid was changed in January 2021.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Connecticut, and South Carolina.
