Sleep, hushaby, baby giraffe! We are learning the letter Ž!

In the joint project we will help children to get to know letters and numbers in an interesting way!

We have prepared two books for little learners – “Alphabet” and “Book of Letters”. You can use both or one in the learning process – as the child chooses.

Ideas for working with a letter book:

• Write the names of the magazine, jacket and others from below.
• Selects or pastes images in which the visible thing begins with Ž.
• Cut out the words from the newspaper or magazine, paste them into the book, wrap all the letters Ž.
• Write the letter Ž.

Vocabulary replenishment tasks:

Find out what that means giraffe, rat, javelin, jacket, žagari, magazine, razor, juggler, fence, gills, blinds, gesture.

Activities with a child:

Figure Ž. Put 10 letters in a row, including three Z, three Z letters. The child is given 12 buttons, they must be placed in equal numbers on the letters Ž. You can use different images in this game, they must be placed next to the letter that is first in the name of the thing in the image.

Literacy self-assessment cards. Prepare cards that have a picture on one side and what is shown on the picture on the other side. The cards are stacked so that the words appear on the surface, the child reads the word and makes sure that he has read it correctly by looking at the picture. All cards are placed in two stacks – those read correctly and those that the child made a mistake when reading. Cards that were read incorrectly are read again.

Ž plate. Inside a paper plate, write the letter Ž. Stick pictures with the names starting with Ž or the names Ž on the edges of the plate. Images can be found in magazines, newspapers, advertising inserts.

Ideas for learning the letter Ž:

• Find out which ones magazines read family adults, what children.
• Learn to sing the lullaby “Sleep, hushaby, a disservice to children.”
• Find out how the fish breathe what they need to breathe.
• Find out where to use choke.
• Learn juggle with balls.
• Visit the Open Air Museum, find out which fences at home was in antiquity, look what fences the town and villages are near modern homes.
• Learn to express your emotions with gestures. Watch people gesture.
• Find out what you can do žigli.
• Learn tongue lace!
