Far Cry

In Far Cry, the GeForce 7950 GX2 was actually slower than the GeForce 7900 GTX at 16xAF. But when 4x anti-aliasing was enabled, the GeForce 7950 GX2 maintained its frame rate while the GeForce 7900 GTX's frame rate dropped by 7%.

F.E.A.R.

Even with just anistropic filtering, the GeForce 7950 GX2 was significantly faster than the other cards. It was about 33% faster than the GeForce 7900 GTX. Its lead over the GeForce 7900 GTX was even more apparent at 45% when 4x anti-aliasing was enabled.

Half Life 2

The Half Life 2 results mimicked the Far Cry results. The GeForce 7900 GTX was faster than the GeForce 7950 GX2 with 16xAF enabled but that changed when 4x anti-aliasing was enabled. The GeForce 7950 GX2 actually maintained its clock speed while the GeForce 7900 GTX's frame rate dropped by 9.5%.
